Acta Metallurgica Sinica is a special journal focusing on metallurgy and metal materials, started in 1956, authorized by Chinese Association of Science and Technology, sponsored by the Chinese Academy of Metals, and undertaken by Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, published by Science Press. Professor Lee Xsun, a world-leading scientist in metal materials, acted as the first editor-in-chief of the journal. The current editor-in-chief is Professor Ye Hengqiang, a member of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
