Welcome!
It is our pleasure to invite you to the IEEE World Haptics 2023 conference. The conference will take place in Delft, in the Netherlands on the 10th to 13th of July 2023.
IEEE World Haptics Conference 2023 is the 10th Joint Eurohaptics Conference and the IEEE Haptics Symposium. The IEEE World Haptics Conference is the premier international conference covering all aspects of haptics, covering the fundamental scientific findings, technological developments, algorithms and applications. It is a central venue for reporting research results and demonstrating novel capabilities in the field of haptics. The conference will offer opportunities to share the most up-to-date scientific discoveries and innovative products.
The ultimate objective is to advance the field of haptics through networking among academia, industry, and affiliated specialists; and to build mutual understanding among colleagues from all over the world.
We look forward to meeting you in Delft!
IEEE World Haptics depends on the service of several committees to handle planning, logistics and technical program. We truly appreciate their dedication to making the conference an memorable moment and their service to the haptics community.

Technical papers should be prepared according to the formatting instructions available here. The paper should not exceed 6 pages in length including references. In addition, please limit your abstract to 200 words or less. For your convenience, the templates for technical papers can be downloaded in Word or Latex format. Documents should be formatted in US Letter size.
New this year, WHC’23 follows a double-blind review process. Therefore, authors should not include their names and affiliations on the paper. All submitted technical papers will be peer-reviewed. To ensure a good match between the papers and the reviewers, each submission will be considered by one of three subcommittees: Haptic Science, Haptic Technology, and Haptic Applications. Authors can indicate their preference of review subcommittee on the paper submission website by selecting keywords.
A link to the submission portal will be posted soon.

The 2023 World Haptics Conference solicits proposals for workshops/tutorials, to be held on July 10, 2019.
Interested organizers can choose between different formats:
Panel Workshops are organized around a specific topic or topics in haptics research and a panel of invited speakers gives talks and participates in discussion sessions on the topic.
Open Workshops are also organized around a specific topic or topics with the difference that organizers call for speakers who are willing to give a talk.
Tutorials are presentations in established research areas aimed to provide hands-on experience. They should be focused on a single topic and should be presented by two or three experts in the field.
For all categories, the organizers are asked to supply a final program of the workshop and a final list of speakers.
