王荣刚,北京大学教授、博导。2006年3月获中科院计算技术研究所计算机应用专业博士学位。2006年3月~2010年8月,法国电信研究员。2010年8月加入北京大学深圳研究生院,2010年8月~2011年8月,助理教授;2011年8月~2017年10月,副教授;2017年8月起,教授;2018年7月起,博导;2016年5月至今,信息工程学院院长助理。研究方向为多媒体信息处理技术,主要研究兴趣包括视频编码技术、三维虚拟现实视频技术和图像增强技术。在上述领域发表国际高水平期刊和会议论文100余篇,申请国际/国内发明专利80余项,20余项技术提案被国际/国家视频编码标准采纳。作为项目负责人承担国家科技部863计划、国家自然科学基金、深圳市以及腾讯、华为、创维和华星光电等公司委托科研项目。2017~2020,IEEE Circuits and Systems Society(CASS), Visual Signal Processing and Communication Technical Committee委员;担任国际MPEG互联网视频压缩标准(IVC:Internet Video Coding)专题组联合组长和IEEE 虚拟现实视频内容编码标准(1857.9 Immersive Visual Content Coding)专题组组长。获得IEEE 1857标准杰出贡献奖和AVS标准2012、2014年度贡献奖。2016年入选“广东特支计划”科技创新领军人才。 主要科研项目: 1.2015.1~2017.12, 国家科技部863计划课题《面向集成成像的虚拟视点合成与真三维电视系统先导验证》,课题负责人; 2. 2014.1~2017.12, 国家自然科学基金面上项目《基于轻量模型的立体视频转换生成与编码技术研究》,项目负责人; 3. 2017.1~2020.12, 国家自然科学基金面上项目《沉浸式虚拟现实视频内容生成与高效编码》,项目负责人; 4. 2011.1~2013.06, 国家科技部支撑计划课题《基于AVS的3D电视实时编解码系统研制与应用示范》,子课题负责人; 5. 2011.6至今,腾讯、华为、创维、华星光电等公司委托研究项目,项目负责人; 6. 2014.1~2018.12, 深圳市孔雀创新研究团队计划《图像与视频处理研究团队》,主要团队成员。 1.
