Diploma, Institute of Physics, Humboldt University (Berlin, Germany), 2004 Dr. rer. nat., Institute of Physics, Humboldt University, 2008 Post-doc, Graduate organization of Advanced Integration Science, Chiba University (Chiba, Japan), 2008-2012 Professor, FUNSOM, Soochow University, since 2012 Research Experience The energy-level alignment at organic interfaces is explored by angle-resolved ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy (ARUPS). Moreover, high resolution ARUPS offers insight in the hole-phonon coupling of vacuum-sublimed organic thin films as well as in the band structure of organic single crystals. Thus, ARUPS can elucidate both hopping and band transport properties of organic solids. The bonding distance and adsorption induced conformation changes of organic monolayers on metals are measured with the synchrotron based X-ray standing wave (XSW) technique. These two main experimental techniques are supported by complementary surface science techniques like low energy electron diffraction (LEED) or X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS).
