Background： He was graduated in Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Zhejiang University, to receive academic degrees of Bachelor, Master and Ph.D in July 1982, July 1985 and March 1993 respectively. Since 1985, he has worked as a teacher in Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Zhejiang University. Teaching: Materials Surface and Interface (for undergraduates), Synthesis and Preparation of Materials (for postgraduates) Research Interests： Wet chemical synthesis of functional materials, Calcium phosphate based biomaterials, Optical, electrical functional materials and their films, Functional nanocomposites.
