Shamik Ghosh, male, was born in Kolkata, India in 1989. In 2010, he obtained his bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of Calcutta, India. He obtained his master’s degree in physics, in 2012 from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India. In 2018, he was obtained a Ph.D. degree in physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India.Since January 2019 he is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Astronomy, University of Science and Technology of China. He works in observational and theoretical cosmology, taking particular interest in the cosmic microwave background and the large-scale structures.
