浙江省151跨世纪人才第三层次，宁波大学中青年优秀骨干教师。近几年来主持和参加了国家自然科学基金、浙江省自然科学基金、浙江省教育厅基金和宁波市自然科学基金的研究工作，以第一作者在国际权威期刊Fuzzy Sets and Systems、Pattern Recognition Letters以及Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence、《计算机研究与发展》等国内外重要学术期刊和国际会议上发表论文20多篇，其中被SCI、EI收录15篇，并多次荣获浙江省自然科学优秀论文奖。担任Fuzzy Sets and Systems、Pattern

Recognition Letters、Information Science等国际期刊的评审人。
