Diplomas Bachelor degree in Chemistry, 1982-07 Master degree in Organic Chemistry, 1987-12 Doctor degree in Mechanic Engineering, 1994-07 Ren-Gen Xiong who did three postdoctoral positions in Nanjing University (1994), Puerto Rico University (1996), and Brandeis University (1997), respectively, at the end of 1998, returned to Nanjing University where he stayed and became a full professor (The Cheung Kong Scholars Program in 2004). In the end of 2006 he moved to Southeast University, where he is Professor of Chemistry presently and the director of Ordered Matter Science Research Center.
